Review of Compressed Air Receiver Tanks for Improved Energy Efficiency of Various Pneumatic Systems
نویسندگان
چکیده
This review examines compressed air receiver tanks (CARTs) for the improved energy efficiency of various pneumatic systems such as (CAS), storage (CAESs), propulsion (PPSs), drive (PDSs), servo drives (PSDs), brake (PBSs), and vehicles (CAVs). The basic formulas indicators used in a CART calculation selection are included. New scientific research by authors on measurements based tank methods, numerical solutions process charging discharging, valve-to-tank-to-valve system was presented. model valve-tank-valve takes into account polytropic discharging processes, mass flow balance equation, sound (choked) subsonic rate inlet outlet valves. Future directions to improve discharge highlighted. effective density compared that other renewable sources fuels. Economic environmental issues were also considered adopting performance indicators. discussion focused design concept computational hybrid tricycle bike (HTB) system.

Development of a Practical Model for Optimizing Surge Tanks and Air Chambers in Water Transmission Systems
Surge tanks and air chambers are the most useful solution to deal with water hammer in water transmission systems (WTS). The optimal design of these protective devices can be effective in reducing the costs of constructing and operating a water transmission system. In this article, some software with the capability of simulating and optimizing these protective equipment is presented. To simulat...
متن کاملA Scheme for Compressed Air Saving in Pneumatic Positioning Systems for High Loads
A problem with pneumatic positioning systems is the low energetic efficiency. This paper presents a structure of a compressed air saving for pneumatic positioning systems with capacity to move high loads. This structure use the loading to save compressed air and thus to increase the energetic efficiency of these systems. This configuration adds a fast switching on/off valve in a feedback betwee...
متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
